Each year, the Anniston Kiwanis hosts a major pancake breakfast raising money for kids who need new clothes and shoes. Kiwanis works with the local Department of Human Resources to help needy kids with supplies. Anniston Kiwanis is once again wanting to raise a lot of money to help lots of kids.
On Saturday March, 4th from 6 am to 12 pm, you can come down to the Anniston City Meeting Center and eat in! That’s right, for the first time since the COVID-19 Pandemic, you can eat at the Anniston City Meeting Center. There is also an option to take your breakfast to-go as well.
For $6 in advance, or $7 at the door, you will get pancakes and sausage for eat-in or take-out. The money raised at pancake day supports local children in a variety of programs to include Back To School Shopping in July, our annual Christmas bicycle giveaway, Key Club scholarships, and Young Child Priority One. Come on out, enjoy a great breakfast, and help our area children in need!
More than 100 people will be volunteering their time to get supplies, cook the sausage and pancakes, and serving meals. I’ll be there as usual taking plenty of pictures and video! Come on out!
