August 24, 2016 is a date that lives in infamy. On that day, an unexpected swarm of destructive tornadoes tore across parts of Indiana, Ohio, and Ontario. It left its mark in both weather history and local legend, and was the pivotal event of my early storm chasing career. Now, 10 years after this event darkened the skies over Indiana, I’m headed back out to where it all happened. In this special documentary, we’ll look back at what kind of environmental factors supported such an active tornado outbreak, and retrace the path of the day’s most infamous tornado a decade later.
