Well the last weekend in the news has been catastrophic.  What usually is a quiet time in the news turned quickly after Donald Trump was almost assassinated in a rally.

We have learned a lot about the shooter since the event.  And two things stick out.  One, he was a loner while in school.  And two, he was often bullied while in school.

Being a loner with no friends and being constantly bullied physically and mentally were two things I experienced a lot while I was in school.

Of course, this does not make me a violent person.  But sadly, we have seen multiple cases from young adults who have committed acts of violence after they were bullied constantly in school or were often lonely while in school.

And I have to ask, why are teachers and staff in schools not intervening to stop this?

Every school in America has students that are being bullied right now.

And every school in America has students that are lonely right now.

Why are schools not intervening in these situations?

If there is a kid lonely in school, like eating lunch by themselves, why are teachers and staff not helping that kid?  If there is a lonely kid eating lunch by themselves, I am sure that kid would love to have other students to talk to while eating lunch.

Just having other people to talk to improves someone’s mental health.  By having someone to talk to, that student who is lonely can feel better about themselves.  And just maybe, prevent a major act of violence from happening down the road, just a thought.

And if teachers and staff in school know that a student is being bullied constantly by multiple other students, they need to step in and stop it.

Why are teachers and staff not stopping the bullies in school?

We have seen time and time again where a student who was constantly bullied while in school has gone on to live a depressed life and sometimes turns to violence.

Students who are constantly bullied will face mental health issues for the rest of their lives, so why is the bullying not being stopped in schools?

There are kids being bullied in every school in America right now.  And I would say this, maybe it’s time we punished the parents of the bullies.  Because bullying starts at home.

If the kids will not stop bullying others at school, arrest the parents of the bullies and jail them.

A message must be sent that bullying is unacceptable in schools of any kind.

It seems like schools across America just do not care.  And we will continue to see students who go to school throughout the day being lonely with no friends.  And we will continue to see students who go to school being bullied throughout the school day.

It is unacceptable to see loneliness and bullying happening in schools, it needs to stop!
