Crowdsourcing Mornings: Wolf Pack: Dog Collar & Integrated First Aid Kit

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:  https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

The vet-approved, lightweight Wolf Pack collar contains 10 first aid items designed to protect against cuts, bites, stings and wounds your dog may encounter while adventuring. Our team of vets, dog owners and EMTs hand-picked each item in the kit based on professional experience and dog loving.

The Wolf Pack was inspired by our mascot, Barron – a 115 pound Swiss Mountain Dog who lives for the trails. Last winter, Barron was hit by a ski while touring, where his dad (aka Uncharted Founder Christian Schauf), used an Uncharted Triage Kit to apply a makeshift tourniquet to Barron’s leg. At the vet an hour later, Christian’s duct tape, zip tie, blood-stopping contraption was credited for saving Barron’s life, and the idea of a dog-specific first aid kit emerged.

As of May 23rd, this project has raised $4,500 of their $15,000 goal. This project has 34 days left to raise the $15,000 or it might not be funded. For a pledge of $53, you will get one dog collar.  For a pledge of $107, you will get two dog collars.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/wolf-pack-dog-collar-integrated-first-aid-kit?
