Crowdsourcing Mornings: Cattails: Wildwood Story — A Cozy Life Sim As A Feral Feline

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:

Experience life as a cat in a strange wilderness. Prowl through dense forests, murky swamps, rocky highlands, and sandy beaches in search of rare herbs and delicious prey. Build and customize your colony’s base of operations and attract new residents to grow a prosperous community. Meet a diverse cast of unique cats and bring back gifts from your travels to make friends!

Cats themselves are both predators and prey. They are expert hunters with keen eyes and sharp claws, but they are also vulnerable and must stay vigilant! Under the dark eaves of the trees, sinister shadows lurk, ready to strike at the unwary. You must protect your colony from the threat that lies at the heart of the land.

At its core, Cattails: Wildwood Story is a single-player life simulation game, infused with elements from the RPG, survival, and dating sim genres. We are drawing inspiration from games like Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, Rune Factory, and WOLF to craft a unique cat-themed experience.

Cattails: Wildwood Story is the standalone sequel to Cattails (2017). If you haven’t played the first game, don’t worry! No previous experience is necessary to enjoy this game.

As of May 13th, this project has raised $130,000 of their $30,000 goal. This project has 28 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $20, you will get one game copy.  For a pledge of $32, you will get one game copy, soundtrack, and more.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
