Willow and her fox spirit companion find themselves in the port city of Tamiris, beneath the watchful eye of a smoking volcano. But things aren’t as they seem and a chance encounter with Master Chen, Gideon’s foster father, leads to a revelation of Gideon’s tragic past. When the spirit of the volcano erupts in anger, Gideon is forced to confront the truths of his foster-father’s previous life, even as Willow discovers that sometimes love doesn’t always conquer all.

Written by Allison Pang and illustrated by Irma ‘Aimo’ AhmedFox & Willow debuted in April 2012 and has maintained a strong fan base ever since. Following the runaway princess, Willow, and her mischievous fox spirit companion, Gideon, the overarching plot centralizes around uncovering Willow’s past and Gideon’s mysterious curse. Yet fairy tales such as from “Rapunzel” to “The Two Sisters,” are interwoven throughout each adventure providing just enough hints for readers to identify the familiar tales.
