Each year the City of Anniston places many Christmas lights in the median along Quintard Ave. Quintard is a 6-lane boulevard that also carries U.S. 431 and AL-21. It takes the workers a couple of weeks to string up the lights on the trees and bushes along Quintard. And it makes the median look very beautiful!
