Disney wants to make a Gravity Falls MOVIE! Could an older Dipper, Mabel and the rest of the Pines family finally be facing off against aliens?!
Alex Hirsch has once again made it known that he’s never making Gravity Falls season 3. But here’s the thing…when you read the interview this statement is from, you’ll notice that the question wasn’t about a season 3 in particular; it was about more Gravity Falls in general. Pair this with a credible report that Disney recently asked him for a reunion film and two things in the artbook that made me go “hm?” I think Hirsch bringing up season 3 in the big 26, as a means to divert our attention away from a MOVIE. And I can PROVE IT! I’m gonna breakdown the exact quote from this interview to highlight how Hirsch evaded design out a direct answer, the scoop about Disney wanting a reunion film, the hints that the artbook planted for one, why a movie would be the most optimal route for more Gravity Falls, at least in animated form, how creating this movie would help the animation industry and of course, what this movie would be about!
