Light On The Hill, led by Matthew Alberico and Fernando DePina, brings together more than three decades of music-industry experience rooted in the New York and New Jersey music scenes.
Before forming Light On The Hill, Matt and Fern built careers in mainstream music, performing at legendary venues including The Stone Pony and Shea Stadium, being part of a group featured on Good Morning America, working with That ’70s Show actress Lisa Robin Kelly, and having music featured in a Julia Roberts film. Their songwriting also caught the attention of Sony, leading to a songwriting deal offer, while their careers connected them with industry names including Sony and Atlantic Records.
After years in mainstream entertainment, their journey took a powerful turn toward faith. Together, they formed Light On The Hill, pioneering what they call Redemption Music, songs inspired by real-life struggles, hope, second chances, and God’s message, created to reach Christians and non-Christians alike.
Today, Light On The Hill continues that journey with music distributed through Sony’s The Orchard, combining decades of industry experience with a new purpose: bringing hope, faith, and light to the world through music.
