On February 14th, 2025, a large drone struck the side of the New Safe Confinement, the megastructure that was designed to contain and eventually decommission the exploded Reactor 4 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The damage was worse than anyone realized. In collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, this video brings you the first damage report on the NSC, never-before-seen footage of the damage from the drone strike, and a call for help.
