Help Bring My Story (and the Stories of Survivors Everywhere) to National TV

Hi, I’m Ashana Kaiulani, a trauma recovery coach and passionate advocate. I help women reclaim their lives after narcissistic abuse, domestic violence, and trauma. I’ve been where so many survivors find themselves: stuck in fear, shame, and self-doubt. But I’ve also been where they want to go: living a life that feels free, empowered, and fully mine.

The path here hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced mental health struggles, grief, and moments that could have easily defined me forever. But I’ve learned that our trauma doesn’t have to be the end of the story. It can be the beginning of something radically powerful.

Now, I’ve been invited to appear on a national TV show. This isn’t just about visibility for me; it’s about creating a platform for the people I serve. Women need to hear real stories. There’s too much polished perfection and manipulated drama on TV. Survivors deserve to see honest, raw, and hopeful examples of what’s possible. This episode will show them that growth, creativity, and healing are not only possible.. they’re happening, right here and right now.

And with this platform, I’ll also bring attention to the Alabama Domestic Violence Registry Project. This registry is a tool for accountability, safety, and systemic change. Millions of viewers will learn that survivors deserve to be protected and heard, not ignored or silenced.

Why This Matters
We deserve to leave behind a legacy for future generations: one that shows fresh opportunities for growth, creativity, and empowerment. This episode is one way we can do exactly that.

What Your Support Covers
To make this episode happen, I’m raising $10,000 to cover essential costs, including:

Travel & Lodging – Getting to and from the studio location

Production Fees – Covering my portion of filming and on-set costs

Marketing & Promotion – Ensuring this message reaches as many survivors as possible

Every dollar goes directly toward making this story visible and amplifying the voices of survivors.

As of October 15th, this project has raised $1,000 of their $10,000 goal. This project has 13 days left to raise the $10,000 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $10, you will get a public shoutout.  For a pledge of $25, you will get behind the scenes updates.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ashana/bring-real-survivor-stories-to-national-tv?
