On Friday March 14, 2008 Alabama was set to face off against Mississippi State in the SEC Championship which was being held at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. As the game nears the end of regulation both teams are neck and neck when Mississippi State takes a 59-56 lead with only a handful of seconds left. Alabama needs to do something miraculous in order to extend the game and their season. That’s when Mykal Riley steps up to drain an incredible buzzer beater three to send the game into overtime.
