Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment! Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others. The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal. Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Since starting our D&D 5th Edition journey 8 years ago, we’ve always looked for ways to enhance the experience for our players. One thing we took notice of is the disappointment on their faces when they score a Natural 20 on a saving throw or when rolling snake eyes for damage on a critical hit. So we put our graphic design backgrounds to work in developing the Decks of Valor and Vigor. The effects on these cards are designed with both players and game masters in mind, so they have been balanced in a way to enhance the game without breaking it. Each effect has been proofed by numerous players and game masters alike to ensure they are easy to understand and apply to any 5th edition campaign.
The Deck of Valor has 28 effect cards and 2 rule cards, with over 30 unique boosting effects for critical hits on attack rolls during combat. These boosts sometimes vary based on whether the attack is a weapon attack or a spell attack, adding flare to any type of character you play. Each card effect is different, with some crippling your opponent and others giving your character a tactical advantage.

As of July 31st, this project has raised $5,100 of their $4,000 goal. This project has 27 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $24, you will get one physical deck. For a pledge of $44, you will get two decks. To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bluecottagemedia/valor-and-vigor-5e-critical-hit-and-save-decks?
