Crowdsourcing Mornings: Jesse Crowe And The Unrest: Live At 1971 Sounds

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

If you had to sum up singer/songwriter Jesse Crowe in a word it would be –

Story.

His journey began within the confines of community, crafting lyrics out of the various narratives of the folks around him. With lyrics that blur the line between the sacred and the secular, Jesse‘s songs capture the heart, regardless of beliefs, causing you to lean in and listen.

Jesse, along with his band, The Unrest, offers a live performance that charges hard with powerfully, deep-bodied, and acoustic driven riffs that carry the lyrics along. These themes wash over the audience in riveting waves, yet balance the tension with folk-seasoned ballads that cause the heart to longingly ache in a way that is oddly familiar, yet also mysterious.

As of April 8th, this project has raised $1,000 of their $2,500 goal. This project has 8 days left to raise the $2,500 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $25, you will get exclusive footage and a sticker.  For a pledge of $100, you will get guest list access to one show.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jessecrowe1971sounds/jesse-crowe-and-the-unrest-live-at-1971-sounds?
