When the Hazel Watson Mystery series begins, Hazel Watson has just completed law school in New Orleans and has taken a job at the public defender’s office. Her best friend is the spirit of a party girl who died much too young and haunts the apartment she recently moved into. Hazel also has a serious crush on a long time friend who is a police officer, Tate Cormier.
Spirits always need something from Hazel, which tends to throw her life into chaos repeatedly. It takes time and support for Hazel to gain the confidence and temperament to handle all the pressures of having such a gift, but she does that with the help of Tate and Candy.
Throughout the series, Hazel’s life will continue to evolve, as will her relationships, and her abilities. Every book covers a different main mystery, and then the trials of her life along the way. Some villains are human, and some are supernatural. No matter who Hazel is up against, there’s one thing you can be sure of…she is certainly going to get herself into a predicament.
With six books in this series, and the new cover having been made by a new designer, I really wanted to update all the covers so the books looked like a true set. In this Kickstarter, you are an opportunity to get the all new book covers and dual page chapter headers, as well as special edition hardbacks with metallic sprayed edges.
