Crowdsourcing Mornings: Art Of The Glorious Geek: Celebrating Diversity In Fandom

This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:

Last year we brought you the Art of the Geek Goddess, a 280 page hard-cover art book with over 50 Gorgeous Femme Geeks celebrating their passions and art through Cosplay.

At the same time we expanded our site to become more inclusive and we rebranded to MyGeekGlory.  No longer just a celebration of women and femme bodies, we now celebrate all Geeks in all their Glory.

What better time than PRIDE month to expand the celebration with our second book “The Art of the Glorious Geek”.  This book will feature our most diverse yet collection of Deities across the gender and sexuality spectrum.

We learned a lot getting our first book printed; discovered our original printer wasn’t able to print our nude content as they originally promised.  We have a new printer with a proven track record that will allow us to publish Volume 2 much faster.

Our Deities are cosplayers, nerds, geeks, and dorks from across the world; see how they have embraced themselves and their creativity through the erotic arts in a 250 page hard-cover book that will showcase the Deities, their favorite cosplays, and BTS content.  And of course the Deities cosplaying out of costume.

This volume will also include hand-picked photos from our past burlesque shows that will make it feel like you are up close and personal in our action packed performances.

Experience the most diverse and body positive group of sexy Cosplayers you’ll find anywhere.  We’ll have a little bit of everything for every fan; Anime, Comics, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, Animation, Nostalgia and MORE!!!

As of June 28th, this project has raised $8,100 of their $12,000 goal. This project has 32 days left to raise the $12,000 or it will not be funded.  For a pledge of $20, you will get a digital grab bag.  For a pledge of $45, you will get one book.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
