Yeah, if you love passenger long-distance trains, this might not be a good thing.  In this video from the Wall Street Journal, you get to learn about the potential demise of Amtrak.  And you get to experience a trip on the Amtrak Crescent line from Washington D.C. to New Orleans.  Amtrak’s proposals for altering or eliminating some of its long-distance train routes, in favor of more frequent service where the population is growing, is facing opposition among those who fear rural America would suffer. WSJ’s Jason Bellini reports.
