Yep, that is the new name for North Alabama’s new Minor League Baseball team.  Starting in 2020, the Mobile BayBears will move to Madison and be renamed the Rocket City Trash Pandas.  Both Rocket City and Trash Pandas got the overwhelming votes, and a new team name is born.  So now you are asking, where is the mascot and team logo?  Well, that is coming soon.  And I hope it looks similar to Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy!  He was called a “Trash Panda” in Volume 2.

The next event will be held on October 27th where the team logo will be revealed.  Also team merchandise will be available.  One thing is for sure, this name is exciting!  Watch the reveal below!
