This is cool!  The website TeleGeography created the 2015 version of all the undersea telecommunication cables on planet Earth.  Currently, there are 278 cables running on the ocean floors between land masses.  This year, the map takes its design inspiration from medieval and renaissance cartography.  A kind of map I love, enjoy below!  And go to the interactive version by clicking here!
