This week on Music Thursdays, let’s talk about three more musicians and artists that you need to hear!
Gavin Mikhail
This artist followed me along on my @nvyoung Twitter account, so I looked around to see what he did. And he does some good music! Gavin Mikhail is based out of Nashville, and he does music that tugs the heartstrings of many people. For example, one of his songs called “I Will Follow You Into The Dark” features Gavin singing great, and playing some great piano as well, check out the music video below!

Gavin won the 2007 “Lay It Down and Mix It Up in the UK” fan-vote contest, and he has released more than 30 albums and singles independently. He even composed the piano soundtrack to the book Between The Shades Of Gray, which is a bestseller. Gavin has been making music since the early 2000’s, and he does a good job making it! Since we are in the Christmas spirit, here is Gavin’s original animated Christmas music video called “Evergreen.”

Bobby Goldsboro
Native Alabamian, Bobby Goldsboro, also has a popular Christmas song that I wanted to showcase. Bobby recorded the song “Look Around You (It’s Christmas Time)” in 1968. Today, it still remains one of the most popular Alabama Christmas songs, enjoy below!

Angels Among Us – Alabama
The musical group Alabama also has a great Christmas song! Angels Among Us was made into a music video in 1993. And for many of us in Alabama and the world, we believe that there are angels among us! So, get into the Christian Christmas spirit, and enjoy below!
