Music Thursdays: Roisin O – Hold On

Geek Alabama Music Thursdays

On this Music Thursdays, I am going to help premiere a brand new music video that is premiering today!  Ireland singer Roisin O’s voice is incredible and in this music video called ” Hold On”, you will get to see a love story starting to bloom, how sweet!  The video is directed and edited by Simon Eustave and features Aaron Heffernan from Love/Hate, Mirjana Rendulic, Geraldine McAlinden and Colin Condon, with special thanks to Dogpatch Labs Dublin.

The Sunday Times described Róisín O as having “a quality of tone and voice that is near pitch-perfect, at times evoking the likes of Joni Mitchell, Joanna Newsom and Kate Bush.”  And this is something I can believe, her voice is something that can calm you down and put you in a happy state, especially while driving in traffic!

Róisín O just finished a 14 date US headline tour taking in locations such as New York, Boston, Montana, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland & more.  On the back of her American success, she is heading to Germany in October for a 17 date tour supporting Ryan Sheridan. Róisín is also delighted to announced that she has signed a record deal with JSM in Germany, and her debut album ‘The Secret Life of Blue’ will be released in Germany, Austria & Switzerland on October 4th.  Enjoy the music video below!
