You can’t request an experience you don’t know exists!
Take what you know your autistic client enjoys, then figure out what seems important about it, and use those clues to generate the next possibility of something else they might enjoy.
And in this process, you’re going to guess wrong and that’s ok!
You won’t uncover a new hidden passion every session.
Expanding someone’s world doesn’t have to mean huge change… it can simply mean adding another possibility.
