A New World of Monsters.
Monsters ain’t nothin’ new.
They’ve been around for at least a century. Even more if you believe in our myths and legends.
But America’s never really had a problem with them. Those were foreign problems that happened an ocean away.
Until now…
DBA’s (Destructive Biological Anomalies) began appearing in greater numbers than ever before on the shores of these United States. And of all places, they picked Texas.
The Texas power grid collapsed almost immediately, and once that went, the infrastructure went too. Corporations bugged out, along with a good amount of the population.
Suddenly, the greatest state turned into a battlefield where the army was constantly scrappin’ with big ol’ kaiju…not the ideal place to raise a family or start a business, y’know? Folks couldn’t even get their air conditioners to run!
Eventually, the federal government threw their hands up and said “to hell with it.” They just let the monsters have it. Walls went up, no-fly-zones declared, and Texas had fallen.
About 15 years After the Fall of Texas (AFT), things are…different ‘round these parts. Lots of folks got out, but lots of others didn’t. The DBA’s pretty much run things, but that won’t stop crazy 49’ers with more money than sense from coming down and taking a gander for themselves.
That’s where me and my company, Texas Titan Tours, come in!
As of September 3rd, this project has raised $29,000 of their $7,500 goal. This project has 5 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $15, you will get one digital edition. For a pledge of $25, you will get one physical copy. To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lagunastudios/state-of-the-monsters?
