My name is Emily and I am the sole owner and operator, as well as the designer behind all your favorite EJS Creations animals! In the past I have run several successful campaigns: one as my other former business, Flint & Feather, for a full line of pride alignment pins, and four as EJS Creations, for a cryptids pin set, for a sticker book collection, an original creature design art book, and a stationery collection.
As an independent artist with a LOT going on in my head, I am always brainstorming ideas for new merch, and this is one I’ve wanted to make for a long time. When my business partner and I shuttered Flint & Feather and sold off the remaining stock of pride alignment pins at the end of last year, I knew the time to make this set had finally come!
The current plan is to make as many pride pins as possible, using my brand motto “Life Is Wonderful, You Are Loved” as a base design. The initial set I hope to fund will include 15 pride flags on 1.5″x1.03″ wooden pins with two back posts with pink heart rubber clutches, handmade by and sourced through my good friend Betty Liao, better known as Kafaid. I hope to also unlock additional pin designs (with up to 20 more being added to the collection) and magnets as stretch goals. The first set of pins I want to make include the following pride flags, with an initial funding goal of $1000: Gay, Lesbian, Asexual, Bisexual, Pansexual, Transgender, Nonbinary, Aromantic, Genderfluid, Sapphic, Demisexual, Polysexual, Intersexual, Polyamory, and Queer.
As of July 28th, this project has raised $820 of their $1,000 goal. This project has 3 days left to raise the $1,000 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $12, you will get one pin.
