When gritty anime protagonist, Lady Vengeance, is brought to the real world by a super fan, she’ll learn there’s more to life than darkness and revenge…and she’ll find love with the super fan’s twin sister – a closeted cheerleader.
Slice of Life is a queer romance that deconstructs the “slice of life” genre, unpacking the importance of “day in the life” narratives to tell a larger story about the meaning of life from the point of view of a formerly-fictional character.
You may be familiar with the popular series from WEBTOON/Tapas or from our various collected single issue floppies.
And now we’re finally producing a 264-page GRAPHIC NOVEL collecting the ENTIRE SECOND SEASON (Chapters 27-63) of the series, plus Bonus Chapters!
Lucy is beginning to come to terms with her sexuality and finds the courage to ask Yuriko to be her girlfriend. But what will happen when Yuriko’s anime character ex-boyfriend comes back to life and enters the real world?
The graphic novel includes TONS of extra content not available in the webcomic version of the series, including 31 pages of bonus chapters – 6 pages of which are COMPLETELY NEW to this collection.
As of April 9th, this project has raised $12,000 of their $16,000 goal. This project has 21 days left to raise the $16,000 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $26, you will get a digital PDF graphic novel. For a pledge of $35, you will get one softcover graphic novel.
