On the night of May 16th, 2025, an EF4 tornado with 170 mph winds tore through Somerset and London, Kentucky while most residents were asleep. 20 lives were lost, including Major Leslie Leatherman, a 39-year veteran of community service. This is their story, told by the survivors, first responders, and neighbors who refused to stand by. The Y’all Squad was on the ground within 48 hours.
