September 20-21 — JapanFest — Atlanta, Georgia

JapanFest Atlanta is an annual festival dedicated to the culture and heritage of Japan. This is your rare opportunity to experience Kabuki and Rakugo in Atlanta, GA. Kabuki, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, returns to JapanFest. Broadway performer and king of kimono comedy, Katsura Sunshine, presents his comedic material.

With the ever-popular Matsuriza Taiko Drum Troupe, Samurai Sword Soul, sumo, karate, kendo, demonstrations, and many other performers, you are sure to enjoy a full day of entertainment. Local Japanese restaurants will offer a tantalizing menu of bento boxes, rice bowls, ramen noodles, sushi, yakisoba, shaved ice and more at the Japanese Food Court and Beer Garden.
