Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:  https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

The world’s first full-body documentary.

CURA isn’t something you watch—it’s something you enter.

Recline in a shared hammock under a hovering screen. Let vibration, sound, and image move through your body like breath. This is cinema as ceremony—a full-body ritual co-created with Indigenous guardian tribes of the Amazon.

The rainforest comes alive—not as a place to save, but as a living being offering to heal us.

In a world overwhelmed by climate data and paralyzed by fear, CURA reconnects us through sensation, ceremony, and storylessness—no narration, no talking heads, no explanations.

Image as prayer. Sound as medicine. A nervous-system recalibration you didn’t know you needed.

Filming is 75% done. With your support, we’ll return to the forest to capture the final footage—and complete this cinematic ritual.

Part documentary, part art installation, part healing ritual—CURA is designed to ignite hope, joy, and a profound reconnection to nature. The experience unfolds as a four-act ceremony: Shadow, Pulse, Spirit, and Return.

Co-created with Indigenous guardian tribes in Colombia and Brazil, CURA is a non-verbal, multi-sensory journey that dissolves boundaries—replacing narration with vibration, facts with feeling, and passive observation with active, embodied connection.

You can experience CURA in-person through our flagship installations—or at home through our groundbreaking Digital Editions: ownable, immersive 4K streaming experiences with binaural sound, delivered via our climate-efficient, peer-to-peer app.

Each edition is uniquely authenticated, and 50% of proceeds flow directly to Indigenous collaborators and their community-led conservation and cultural initiatives.

As of July 28th, this project has raised $9,500 of their $49,999 goal. This project has 35 days left to raise the $49,999 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $5, you will get project updates.  For a pledge of $19, you will get a digital thank you card.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tousi/cura-a-sensory-ritual-for-a-disconnected-world?
