The House GOP and Speaker Mike Johnson are fast-tracking a Big, Beautiful reconciliation bill that is over 1100 pages long onto the House floor. The bill would represent the largest cut to Medicaid since it was created in 1965 and could lead to loss of coverage for millions of Americans, in part due to new work requirements that would add onerous red tape to the program.
