The profound challenge parents face is not only about being physically present, it is about being truly known and understood by their kids. Our lives are finite, there is no way to make up for lost time and in the end we leave behind fragments of our thoughts, memories and feelings scattered between social media, messengers, and the cloud. In the midst of the white noise and overload of information – where is the real you, and where can we go to maintain an immutable connection with our children in the future?
This is the question our team of child & family psychologists, game designers and engineers, passionate sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, asked ourselves. After almost a decade of research, development, designing and prototyping, we are proud to present YOU – the kickstarter community and the world with Trove – a new way to envision who you are for the ones you love.
Trove is a Life Capture App that helps parents share who they are, what they’ve learned, their values, culture, family history, love and life experience with their kids.
Combining the power of AI with the warmth of personal storytelling, Trove is a sanctuary, a keeper of wisdom and bridge between generations that helps users reflect on their life experience, make up for lost time and connect more deeply with themselves and their loved ones, assuring nothing is left unsaid and the memories of those who came before live on for posterity.
Developed by child & family psychologists, game designers, biographers and engineers, our team of passionate sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, have spent years researching, designing, and testing ways to intuitively capture and organize every one of the layers that make up the entirety of a human life. We are thrilled to share our vision with the Kickstarter community, giving backers the first opportunity to preview Trove’s user experience and the key features we created to help capture everything that makes you who you are.
