Navia is a nonspeaking quadriplegic with an intellectual disability. She’s cared for by her loving single mom, Shanta. Navia lights up around people and loves connecting with others, but the two rarely have visitors and often feel isolated. Both Navia and Shanta wish more people would check in and spend time with them.
