Dear Wes… explores the experiences, challenges, and triumphs of transgender youth as they navigate an increasingly hostile and rapidly shifting landscape. With Wes Streeting’s indefinite ban on puberty blockers now in full effect, the team at Trans Matters Worldwide have found a galvanising cause for their next instalment in the What is Transgender? series.
To craft the strongest possible argument against the ban, TMW will interview transgender youth, the parents who tirelessly support them, and the healthcare professionals advocating for their rights. On this project we’re also going to be collaborating with organisations like Anne Health, Trans Kids Deserve Better and Jude Guaitamacchi of the Trans+ Solidarity Alliance, with plans to engage other partners as well.
