Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others. The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal. Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Out and About is a cozy life simulator about foraging, community and food. Explore nature, identify and gather plants & fungi, cook recipes and herbal remedies and sell them on the farmers market – all while bringing the community together and turning a damaged coastal town into a foodie paradise.
All plants, mushrooms and recipes in the game are real so you can learn new things while playing!
Head out to explore beautifully crafted natural environments, from Forests and Grasslands to Wetlands and Alpine mountains. Discover and gather 90+ plants and fungi in their natural habitat, while learning to identify them and improving your real life foraging skills.
