The Pride are back!
After a lengthy break away, The Pride returns to comics with a special one-shot to celebrate all things summer in The Pride Summer Special!
After their first adventures, The Pride were well deserving of a break, and in this 60+ page special edition, fans and new readers alike can get to see a hint of just what they got up to, ready to gear up for the series’ impending return to comic stores!
Sun, sea and even a few thirst traps await in this incredible collection of pin-ups, brand new stories and adventures, including a brand-new short story with series original artist Gavin Mitchell, and even a tease of things to come!
Who are The Pride?
The Pride are a team of all LGBTQ+ superheroes, working to improve representation as well as fighting for equality, fairness and justice for all!
The series was created by Joe Glass and Gavin Mitchell, and began as a small press, self-published comic, before becoming the first ComiXology Submit project to graduate to ComiXology Originals and later collected in print in The Pride Omnibus by Dark Horse Comics, available in stores now!
Featuring heroes like FabMan, Wolf, Muscle Mary, Twink, Frost, Angel, Bear, Stand and Cub, as well as a whole world of other heroes and villains, the team have fought everything from hateful preachers to interplanetary parasites goddesses!
The Summer Special
This special one shot collects a number of fabulous, fun and even a little sexy pin ups by a host of amazing artists, as well as brand new adventures penned by Joe Glass and featuring incredible artists.
Plus, we’ll have brand new character profile pages for the main players of The Pride to date and a look to the future too!
All this and even some teasers and artwork for the next series of The Pride to whet your appetites for the return of the series to comic stores.
