Crowdsourcing Mornings: The Bloom Book

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Hello and welcome to the Bloom Book page! My name is Libby and the Bloom Book is a collection of my illustrated florals.

For the past year I’ve been obsessed with drawing detailed florals. Many of these floral illustrations were for tattoo commissions, which has been beyond flattering and exciting seeing my art on people! Because of the mass amount of florals I illustrated, I wanted to compile them into a lovely little book so that anyone could have a piece of my floral work for themself. I hope this book inspires you or fills you with the warmth of summer. It’s been a long time coming and I’m so happy to finally be able to share it.

The Bloom Book comes with a hard matte cover and contains 80 (now 100!) full color pages on glossy premium paper. Each Illustration is a unique arrangement of florals. Many of these were inspired by lush Rococo paintings, bursting with color and detail.

As of April 27th, this project has raised $68,000 of their $5,000 goal. This project has 5 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $15, you will get one PDF book.  For a pledge of $30, you will get one physical book.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bloombook/the-bloom-book?
