Convention Tuesdays: Nerdi Gras / Mississippi Anime Festival / Sequoyah-Con 2023

Welcome to the Convention Tuesdays segment!  Each week here on Geek Alabama, Convention Tuesdays will feature and highlight conventions happening during the upcoming weekend in the State of Alabama, or within short driving distances from Alabama such as Atlanta, Nashville, Chattanooga, New Orleans, Jackson, Memphis, and other nearby cities close to Alabama.

March 10-12 — Nerdi Gras — Atlanta, Georgia

NERDI GRAS is a celebration of all things geek. It’s 3 days of music, entertainment, video games, board games, and cosplay designed to evoke a Carnivale of color, sound, and energy. It’s a place where all are welcome to join in a community of friends who play together, are creative together, and share a desire to be a part of a true Nerd Bacchanalia.

March 11-12 — Mississippi Anime Festival — Jackson, Mississippi

Mississippi Anime Fest is a two-day event being held at the Mississippi Trade Mart (1200 Mississippi St, Jackson, MS 39202) and will bring together a diverse list of guests, vendors, artists, and fan groups, in an affordable, family-friendly environment.

March 11 — Sequoyah-Con — Ellijay, Georgia

The Sequoyah Regional Library System presents 3 mini-conventions across multiple counties featuring popular fandoms, panels, activities, and programs; all for free!  All ages are welcome to participate in scheduled events that will take place at the Woodstock, R.T. Jones, Gilmer and libraries!
