Animation Monday: HBO Max Is REMOVING Cartoon Network Shows!

Welcome to the Animation Monday segment! Each week here on Geek Alabama, Animation Monday will feature stuff from the animation and cartoon worlds. Animation has become an extremely popular format in today’s media driven world. And we here at Geek Alabama love to feature animation content!

Cartoon Network Studios shows are being deleted from HBO Max thanks to the Warner Bros Discovery merger. Shows like Summer Camp Island, Infinity Train, and Close Enough don’t have many ways to watch other than HBO Max. This is an awful decision, so what happens next?

Cartoon Network shows being pulled from HBO Max comes right after the cancellation of SCOOB: Holiday Haunt and Batgirl, all because of Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav. Among the cartoons being removed from HBO Max are Infinity Train, OK KO Let’s Be Heroes, Victor and Valentino, Mao Mao Heroes of Pure Heart, Close Enough, Summer Camp Island, and Uncle Grandpa. No matter what happens surrounding the future of Cartoon Network and HBO Max, it’s important to keep supporting animation and the people who help make it happen.
