Crowdsourcing Mornings: STEAM Quest: Story-Based Activity Book

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:

STEAM Quest takes you through the story of a young girl named Amora and her self-made robot friend named Steam, as they travel the world and learn about S.T.E.A.M(Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) and different places. Through fun activities, students will create moments of their S.T.E.A.M exploration journey. While coincidentally, taking a journey with Amora and Steam! Through the process, they meet some great people along the way.

This Kickstarter is serving as a pre-order system for the only time hardcover and signed versions of STEAM Quest will be available online.  By backing this Kickstarter, you will be a part of the first set of individuals receiving a STEAM Quest book! AND you receive some goodies, freebies, and the potential chance to rename a character in STEAM Quest. By chance, we mean every person who pledged to this Kickstarter will have their name put into a roulette wheel. Then on Instagram live we will spin the wheel and see who gets to rename a character (These characters will not be Amora or Steam)! We have had some parents interested in re-naming a character to the name of their kid… well now is your chance to be put in the running for the opportunity.

As of May 9th, this project has raised $1,600 of their $2,200 goal. This project has 15 days left to raise the $2,200 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $17, you will get one signed hardcover book.  For a pledge of $29, you will get one hardcover book plus extras.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
