Children dream they can be anything, and all their dreams are real! An explorer, a teacher… a first responder, a healer… a unicorn, a leader… and more. In this inspiring journey about dreams and aspirations, follow the children as they imagine the many possibilities. (Includes extra learning opportunities at the end of the book to explore further.)
Hi, it’s Robert, the author of CATCH ME, I’M A DREAM. I’m always in search of new and inspiring books for my daughter, and I’ve seen a lot of books introducing children to various careers they can be involved in later on in life. Many of these books explain different jobs, giving kids worthy ideas for what their future may hold in that regard.
But I remember dreaming as a kid. I remember dreaming of ALL the things I could be. Not only jobs and careers, but also things that went beyond that. I dreamed of all these things and more. As all kids do!
I knew I couldn’t show all these possibilities in a 32 page picture book. But I wanted to express the breadth of ideas one can imagine as a child (and as a grown-up as well). And I wanted to ensure that every child feels included in these opportunities to dream.
And so CATCH ME, I’M A DREAM was conceived, and is now in its final stages of creation as a beautiful, colorful, positive, and inspiring children’s picture book.
I wrote this story to encourage children to dream of anything. I hope this book gives parents and loved ones another great opportunity to talk about these things with the children in their lives.
