To celebrate the 7-Year Anniversary of Comic Frontline, we are hoping to make the transition to an edited, stripped down audio format of Comic Book Weekly that our listeners can take on the go and enjoy while they drive, exercise, cook dinner or various other tasks that require their attention.

We love comic books. We love the entire culture that surrounds them including the other media that they populate and have become popular in. We love the heroes and the villains, the bold and the subtle. We love how many different types of stories can be told and the many different genres and sub-genres that they can encompass.

Comic Books are unlike any other medium. They combine the beautiful imagery of art with the emotional and dramatic phrasing of prose or screenplay into this unparalleled art form that transcends time and class.

We love being whisked away into fantastic and strange worlds filled with colorful characters and dynamic sequences of action, drama, horror and comedy. We enjoy being engrossed in an intricate murder mystery with the clues hidden in panels, or captivated by rich fantasy worlds full of creatures and races we’ve never seen before, or even entertained by alternate versions of our own world where people fly or become invisible, or can read minds!

Comic Books are our passion, and so we talk about them. Every week. LIVE. And we have for years! And we’d like to continue sharing that with even more people!

As of February 5th, this project has raised $1,270 of their $1,200 goal. This project has 6 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $1, you will get a PDF digital comics bundle.  For a pledge of $5, you will get a shoutout in the podcast.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
