This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Strait to Summit launched in October 2018 and has been growing exponentially since then, positively impacting the lives of our community, from producers to the pets that enjoy our products and their owners. We believe that farm to table isn’t just for high priced restaurants. We support independent agriculture, regenerative farming practices and sustainable fisheries. We create additional revenue streams for producers by purchasing items that have little demand in local markets.
We want to connect pet owners with where their pet’s food is coming from so we name our producers on all single origin products and provide farm information right on the bag. We believe in giving back – 50 cents from each retail bag is donated to local charities, with a new organization being picked every other month. We want to teach valuable skills such as whole animal butchery, while creating living wage jobs in our community.
We care about dogs and our mission is to create the best possible products for their enjoyment and for their health. Strait to Summit started due to our own dog’s food allergies and we are committed to providing treats that are allergy and sensitive-tummy safe. Simple, wholesome and delicious – we guarantee your dog will be begging for more. We receive so many messages from pet owners that we’ve helped progress their training and our treats are the only ones their dogs won’t refuse – especially in high stress or distracting environments.
The biggest reason we are doing this Kickstarter is to give the deserving dogs of the USA access to our treats. We have so much interest on our Instagram, and if we continue to grow organically we feel we can achieve this by late 2021 or early 2022. If we get fully funded american pups will get to enjoy our treats by spring 2020!
As of September 30th, this project has raised $11,000 of their $56,641 goal. This project has 26 days left to raise the $56,641 or it will not be funded.
