Crowdsourcing Mornings: Urbie Air: World’s First 3-in-1 Smart Ecosystem Air Purifier

This is Crowdsourcing Mornings! This post takes place every weekday morning and highlights one crowdsourcing project I liked from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or other crowdsourcing websites.

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:

An innovative, 3-in-1 Air Purifier, Dehumidifier and Self-watering Smart Plant that eliminates indoor air pollution from 3 different angles (Removes Excess Humidity, Filters Volatile Organic Compounds, and Amplifies Fresh Oxygen Production).  With the help of two powerful yet discrete fans, polluted air is sucked in and filtered with the help of microorganisms living in the plant’s soil that break down pollutants into safer compounds. We’ve also added Activated Ecofriendly Carbon Filters that filter even smaller pollutants <2.5μ also known as Volatile Organic Compounds.

Urbie Air also removes excess humidity from your room, turns it into condensation that waters your plant, and reproduces cleaner, fresher air!  Monitor your home air quality in real time from absolutely anywhere when you sync with the Urbie Air app. Control Urbie Air remotely and watch how your air is being purified. The app even displays the water tank levels, plant watering frequency, humidity levels, and VOC’s. We’ve also added Bluetooth to make the initial setup go smooth and easy!

As of September 13th, this project has raised $175,000 of their $22,139 goal. This project has 1 day left to raise as much as it can.  For a pledge of $2, you will get project updates.  For a pledge of $177, you will get one Urbie Air.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
