Good News Fridays: Volunteering For The Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive

So I am getting myself more out there.  The reason is very simple, in early 2019 I will be on national television.  I can’t wait until I can say what the TV show is about.  But for now, let’s talk about my time ringing the bell for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive.  I volunteered for a 90 minute shift at the Lenlock (Anniston) Walmart.  While I was there, we had a lot of people donating money!  There were plenty of one dollar bills, 5 five dollar bills, ten dollar bills, and even higher amounts put into the kettle.

The fun part was watching a parent handing their children one dollar bills and watching each child walking up to the red kettle and inserting the money.  Teaching them young is always a great thing!  After the time at the red kettle, I took a couple of pictures at the Anniston Kiwanis Christmas party.  Enjoy the pics below!
