Hi hoomans, I’m Tira, an independent female author. Thank you for checking out my Kickstarter campaign for my sweet and adventurous children’s book and the first in a new series of The Waggy Dog Tales, staring my three amazing rescue dogs, Dooey, Ronnie & Keef.
By joining me on this journey, you’ll gain access to exclusive rewards available only on Kickstarter and you’ll be helping me finish covering the costs of the illustrations which are all hand drawn by my professional illustrator, then I’ll also be able to purchase my custom plush toy which come at a minimum order of 300 and also print my books in bulk. The Long journey. Ronnie is a sweet little girl living on the streets of Spain. With her dirty coat, flies buzzing around her head and bottom teeth that stick out so far she can see them herself, she looks so scruffy that nobody wants to come near her, judging her by her appearance rather than her inner beauty.
That is, until one day, she is rescued by a kind hooman. This marks the beginning of her long journey across the sea to meet her new brothers, Keef and Dooey. How will she adjust to her new life? What hilarious adventures will she encounter? And will her new brothers discover what this strange-looking creature really is?
This series follows the incredible true story of my three amazing rescue dogs. Their real life personalities and characteristics are perfectly reflected throughout the tale. It’s a heartwarming story that highlights dog rescue and teaches valuable lessons about kindness, empathy, friendship, and most importantly its laugh out loud funny. A unique story written by myself, full of beautiful illustrations all hand drawn and no AI.
Available in picture book form for age 5-8 and also in a longer format, chapter story books for more advanced readers age 8-13.
