Crowdsourcing Mornings: A Day In The Life Of Your Dog – A Book For Dogs

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

A Book Created For DOGS

My love for literacy and dogs came together for this project and I am so honored to share it with you.

Get your pup cozied up on the couch and start reading A Day in the Life of Your Dog. Your furry friend won’t get enough of the sounds (squeaky ball) and smells (bacon!) this book will give.

Benefits of this book:

  • Dog owners of all ages could enjoy spending quality time with their pet.
  • Children would love reading to their pet! This book is a great way to promote literacy in the home while loving on a furry friend.
  • Take this book to dog shelters and volunteer to read to those precious pups in need of attention and love. Don’t forget a bag of treats!
  • Dogs bring emotional support to so many. This reading experience would be a great way to brighten any day.
  • Can’t be active with your pup due to health reasons or recent surgery? This is a great way to be engaged with your dog while you or your furry friend is recovering.
  • Not a dog owner but know people who have them? This would make a great GIFT for any occasion!
  • Bringing a new dog home? This activity would be a great way to bond with your new dog so they can get comfortable in their new home.

My hope is that this book will inspire dog lovers to enjoy quality time with their pet through literacy.

As of March 13th, this project has raised $6,800 of their $8,000 goal. This project has 10 days left to raise the $8,000 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $10, you will get a thank you card.  For a pledge of $30, you will get one signed book.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to:
