Hi! We are MARSALA, a Ukrainian fashion footwear brand. Since the war in Ukraine started, we had to reimagine ourselves and moved from sophisticated feminine high heels to the production of military shoes.

The factory relocated from the bombed city of Kharkiv to a safe place on the border with Poland. Having 40 years experience in manufacturing, we decided to develop  shoes for the Army. Made in Ukraine during the war.

The demand for shoes was urgent and we started to immediately work on the development of the military shoes back in April this year. There were 5 iterations of the boots. Each time improvements were made with consideration of feedback from the soldiers making small adjustments each time. Now we believe we have a perfect boot for the all weather conditions and bring our product to market.

2700 pairs of shoes have already been sent to the Army Forces of Ukraine and they have received outstanding reviews from the soldiers. We work with charity foundations that help us with fundraising and requests from the troops. We also run our in-house funding with a ‘buy 1 – send 1 to the soldier‘.

With all this experience we present MARS – professional hiking boots that are designed to resist any challenges with bravery.
