Crowdsourcing Mornings: 44 BCE – A Game Of Strategy And Betrayal

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Please read our crowdsourcing guidelines at:  https://geekalabama.com/media-kit-pr/geek-alabama-crowdsourcing-guidelines

Created for two to five players ages 14 and older. Take a trip back to the Ides of March 44 BCE, just after Julius Caesar was assassinated. Will you step into the power vacuum?

In this dramatic, emotion-provoked, immersive game experience, you become a historical icon: Agrippa, Brutus, Cleopatra, Mark Antony, or Octavian. With no clear leader in place, players vie for control of Rome as the republic fails. Each year the Senate grants Imperium Maius to the most powerful leader. Suitors must scheme, conspire and backstab until the Senate concedes one suitor has insurmountable Imperium.

After six rounds, the leader with the most Imperium will be crowned the first Emperor of Rome!

As of May 28th, this project has raised $31,000 of their $14,500 goal. This project has 16 days left to raise as much as it can. For a pledge of $59, you will get one standard game.  For a pledge of $109, you will get one standard game plus extras.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/44bce/44-bcetm-a-game-of-strategy-and-betrayal?
