Crowdsourcing Mornings: Curious Morenike: Pilot Episode

Welcome to the Crowdsourcing Mornings segment!  Every weekday morning, Geek Alabama talks about and features one crowdsourcing project from crowdsourcing sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and others.  The hope with Crowdsourcing Mornings is to feature and help a project be successful and reach its fundraising goal.  Please enjoy today’s featured project!

Curious Morenike is a children’s education podcast that encourages kids to change the world with their curiosity. Each week our host, Morenike Phillips, a cheerful 6-year old with a knack for teaching, will discover answers to life’s most exciting questions. Our mission is to inspire young people (ages 6-9) to use their kid curiosity to think critically and creatively to make the world a better place.

Curious Morenike explores a global curriculum encompassing traditional subjects from Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), and History plus personal development skills like active listening, teamwork, leadership, and patience.

Your donations will support the production of our pilot episode, in which Morenike will research the effects of pollution at the beach and share what kids and their families can do to help the environment. Our goal is to reach our budget before January 2022 and release the pilot episode by February 2022.

As of January 3rd, this project has raised $9,200 of their $12,000 goal. This project has 3 days left to raise the $12,000 or it will not be funded. For a pledge of $25, you will get a thank you video.  For a pledge of $50, you will get behind the scenes access.  To learn more and to pledge money, go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/curiousmorenike/curious-morenike-pilot-episode?
