Come Get Breakfast At The 2021 Anniston Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast

Each year, the Anniston Kiwanis hosts a major pancake breakfast raising money for kids who need new clothes and shoes. Kiwanis works with the local Department of Human Resources to help needy kids with supplies. Anniston Kiwanis is wanting to raise a lot of money to help lots of kids.

On Saturday March, 6th from 6 am to 12 pm, you can come to collect your pancake breakfasts to go.  Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s pancake breakfast will be curbside pickup drive-thru only.  The parking lot at the Anniston City Meeting Center will be set-up as an easy drive-up to retrieve your pancakes and sausage. You will also be able to purchase meal tickets at the drive-up if you need them.

For $6 in advance, or $7 at the door, you will get pancakes and sausage for take-out.  The money raised at pancake day supports local children in a variety of programs to include Back To School Shopping in July, our annual Christmas bicycle giveaway, Key Club scholarships, and Young Child Priority One. Come on out, enjoy a great breakfast, and help our area children in need!

More than 100 people will be volunteering their time to get supplies, cook the sausage and pancakes, and delivering meals to cars in the drive-thru line.  Everything this year will be safe, as all volunteers will be wearing masks, social distancing, and everyone cooking food and delivering meals will be wearing gloves.  Here is a diagram of how the parking lot at the Anniston City Meeting Center will be like this year.

Here are interviews about the 2021 Anniston Kiwanis pancake breakfast from the Steve and Julie Morning show and Local Matters.

I’ll be there as usual taking plenty of pictures and video! Come on out!
