Destin Sandlin from SmarterEveryDay flew to California to try a very interesting machine.  He went to Infinadeck and tried out the Omnidirectional Treadmill that includes 360 virtual reality.  The treadmill can move in the direction the person wearing the virtual reality headset is going too.  Yes, that means forward, back, or even sideways.  This machine is currently in beta unit testing and software development programs.  And soon, it could be available commercially.  See it in action below!
